I just had to share what my sweet husband bought for me this Valentine’s Day..

A Hoover REACT Whole Home Cordless Vacuum!

He even ordered the extra battery, Powered Stair Tool and Pet Upholstery Tool.

I had to share and I’d LOVE to know if any of you own a Hoover REACT Cordless? Those who own it.. what are your thoughts.. Likes? Dislikes? I’ve obviously just used it a very short time but so far, I’m very impressed!

I seen the corded version at Walmart last month, didn't think much of it other than another plastic vacuum.

I have always liked Hoover’s “windtunnel” design for the revolving brush chamber. But what does TTI mean by “WindTunnel Surge” on the front of the power head?

@eurekaprince

Hello!

This is what Hoover described “Windtunnel Surge Technology” is.. basically it’s the Windtunnel Brushroll Chamber Design, combined with the REACT technology that changes brushroll speed to best suit the floor you’re cleaning. It actually works pretty well, in my home on my floors, area rugs and carpets it adjusts quickly in seconds. I’ve found with the Corded Hoover REACT upright, it makes cleaning faster and easier. And from what both the Corded and cordless are picking up in the dirt bins (yuck) they seem to be cleaning very well.

Thanks for the interest.

Good call getting the extra battery. In my experience, that's the big downfall of most cordless appliances and why I refuse to have one that lacks a removable battery pack. I know this is apples and oranges but I bought a Kobalt cordless leaf blower at Lowe's on their black Friday sale Thanksgiving weekend and was very pleased with its performance--for the first 15 minutes. Then I had to charge the battery up for more than an hour to be able to use it for another 15 minutes. A second battery cost almost as much as the whole leaf blower, and I almost took the sucker back but I found a battery pack on eBay for about half what Lowe's wanted, which took a bit of the sting out. Still, the black Friday bargain wasn't that much of a bargain in the end. The blower is great for small jobs but you can't do the whole yard with it. I'm sure the same holds true for that Hoover.

Last year I bought a Miele S7 salsa on v day. It was just a coincidence that it was v day and happened to be red. 😂

@mieles5380Leo

That’s a great coincidence.. I love the Red Salsa.. it’s a beautiful machine.

I have the Miele H1 QuickStep Upright model 194 and it is also Red. I bought the powered nozzle for it and love my Miele. I also own the S7 but mine is the boring silver color. I’d love to get the Blue one or even the Cat and Dog S7 in White.

Thanks for the share and congrats on a lovely Valentine!
