From the Marklund Resale in Woodale, for a whopping $10 we have this little beauty. A diamond in the rough for now, I think it will clean up very nice! |

Wow! Not a Hoover but a beautiful cleaner indeed! You have gotten some fantastic deals there, Jeff, over the years. I really like the chrome Eurekas from this era. What is the vintage of this one? --Tom |

Jeff, just wondering, did you notice if it has an adjustment feature on the rear axel. Some of those late 60's Eureka uprights had a stem on the rear wheel axel that would give you a normal and low setting? Other wise really no height change. Norm |

Beautiful Machine Jeff, it sounds like it has some real power behind it. Love the way it groomed the carpet too. |

Jeff, What a wonderful find. I love Eureka products. Here in this area I think Eureka was more popular than Hoover. As a child I remember more Eureka's than I ever remember Hoovers. Perhaps it had something to do with the dealerships in the area. Of course Montgomery Wards was a big business when I ws a child and they carried Eureka products with thier badged name on the product. My personal opinion is that they cleaned very well and the bad design was much better than Hoover's C bag design. I love that front mount attachment port... I have one machine in my collection that has that option. I also have the complete tool set as well. Morgan |
