How old was he? I ruined my basement floor by following the painting advice given to me by a part time hardware store employee. "You don't need any sealant" he says, "you need this latex paint" he says...never listen to any advice by a store employee today. They just care about cashing their paycheck and getting home.

Amen huskyvacs!!!!!
I went to lowes and bought a vinyl linoleum floor covering and they told me NOT to glue it down. They said it was a floating linoleum. So I roll it out and I'm thinking the whole time how the hell is this supposed to not wrinkle if I don't glue it. The idiot actually told me I would ruin it if I attached it in any way. Well the first time I vacuumed the damn thing it was like trying to vacuum a bed sheet lol just sucked it up and wrinkled the hell out of it. Then one day Shaylee vacuumed it with her Riccar upright with the brushroll on. It ripped it. I went back to lowes to complain and the same guy told me sorry no warrantee because you didn't have us lay it out. whatever..... As for the belts I'd shop on line. Most vac shops and or dealers are just going to sell you the new style belts. |

Many years ago I had a Kirby dealer make me mad. So mad, in fact, that I wrote Kirby Company about it. The dealer called me, and we became friends. I ended up working for him until I moved out of state. |
