With all the cheap Kirby parts out there, it would not be hard to revert it.

There was a series of magazine ads--

--a few years ago from a central vac company showing what could be done with the now now not needed vac after installing a built-in.One was an original Dirt Devil with hinges at side of bag door to use as a cabinet.I think another was the lamp idea. And more.Anyone seen these?

I'd rather see the vacuum running.

That looks tacky as all hell. It's a beautiful machine, but the looks are ruined by the lamp sticking out of it.

Guess the seller was trying to make this appeal to flashoholics-light collectors or vacuholics-vacuum cleaner collectors.Maybe this could have some potential if the light part could be readly removed if you wanted to use the thing as a vacuum cleaner.I honestly don't want my Kirby to be a light when its not being used as a vacuum collector-now could this be some madf attachment idea?after all make your Kirby a COMPLETE home care system---It can be a LAMP,too!
