rescued a bissel out of the trash

It wouldn't work at all
so took out brush roll & cleaned it & all the impacted junk up hose filled w hay & grit

plugged it in & it worked fine
so decided to clean it all up hoping to add anbother to my collection
& just to see maybe it worked better than some of mine

just finished cleaning up the badly clogged dirty bissell 3576.1
cleaned in the tub
all the filters n everything
just to find
it runs only wo the brushroll installed

seems one end is out of shape so its not rotating

arrgh
good machine but I don't want to invest $18 in a brush roll
just to see how the vac works
Its not rated high & can be bought under $100

2 hours wasted!

has a nice cord

so could take some parts n return it to the trash
LOL
good 30 foot cord & bulb is 2 pin looks like it will fit royal n kirby

its a bagless & most likely
no better n maybe even worse than the windtunnel

would be nice if I could replace end on roller
but doesn't look like oneof those
LOL

unfortunately with most of the new disposable vacs(at least in my area)people throw them away because they are broken beyond repair. Only ones I find are worth picking up is the older Hoover and Eureka uprights along with other older vacs because they are typically thrown out because people upgraded to a new throw away bagless model.Sorry for your luck I too have had that problem in the past.

Has a nice cord though...LOL

I agree thats why I wouldn't invest say $25 w shipping 4 a brushroll 4 it.

Motor looks nice though

I'll takae the cord

Don;t know what I would do w a noisy 12 amp motor

its a new model maybe 2 or so years old
so they are sort of disposable

this one was used by a tenant who has rabbits
& it was filled with rabbit bedding

arrgh

I just wish it worked out better
but heck
guess I learned

I do think the s=cord should fit anything
its a 2 wire
A 30 foot can come in handy in case I find one with no cord!

LOL

this just needs a roller

everything else is fine
used not long but under harsh conditions

but I;m afraid its met its end

least some of its parts can be used for transplants
& give other vacs a new life

LOL
