Here is a update on my electrolux 50th jubilee canister vacuum cleaner I got another hose for it a vinyl hose I still have my cloth hose |

Yea the vinyl hose is more flexible and longer than the cloth hose I will keep the cloth hose as a back up and the vacuum is cleaned all I need to to is get the vacuum cleaned inside the power nozzle is cleaned inside the sidekick is cleaned I need to get the vacuum cleaned inside |

The vinyl hose looks like crap when you use it with a vintage machine (the G era). If they offered them in different colors it wouldn't look as bad. I still have my great-grandmother's Olympia One and it came with a vinyl hose when it was bought refurbished from the mom & pop vacuum shop in 2000 when her original Electrolux (no idea on the model) blew the motor out (big smoke ball and odor).
