Looks like a well taken care of cleaner! Those Electrolux cleaners are great!

Nice machine. I love Electrolux canisters from that era. The woven hose doesn't appear to be original to the machine. That dove gray color shipped with the Silverado, which came out a few years later. Good call on the vinyl hose. I'm sure it vastly improves performance.

The vinyl hose looks like crap when you use it with a vintage machine (the G era). If they offered them in different colors it wouldn't look as bad. I still have my great-grandmother's Olympia One and it came with a vinyl hose when it was bought refurbished from the mom & pop vacuum shop in 2000 when her original Electrolux (no idea on the model) blew the motor out (big smoke ball and odor).

I think the vinyl hose looks fine with that color scheme. And it's a big improvement over the older woven hose. Since Electrolux machines in good working order can still be found for cheap, its not even worth buying a new canister vacuum. There's no comparison!
