i just got a ridgid 6 gallon shop vac model #wd0670 & like it. however i want to upgrade to a 2-stage motor. is there any 2-stage motors that fit?

ridgid vacs

Another interesting thing about those smaller ridgid vacs, they use an odd hose end, I think the attachment size is 1-7/8 or something like that, not very common. Fortunately, the hose in-let on those vacs is standard so you can substitute a wet dry vac hose of a more common size. I think I have the vacuum you mention, it's either 5 or 6 gallon, but you can tell by the sound that it's definitely a one stage motor.
