this ge came into my vac shop a few weeks ago. I fixed a 1990's kenmore canister for a mans anut that is a 102 years old. he does the vacuuming for hear once a week. he seen that I like old vacuums and asked if I would like a old ge vacuum that his anut had up stairs. I sed yes, so he brout it in the next week and gave it to me for free. It was packed whith 1981 news papers so he thaut that was the last time it was used. the hose is still good and the vacuum is like new. just needs to be searviced.

last weeks finds

a ge with box. got this at a estate sale. thay sed there was two little old ladies, one was 92 and the outher was 95 that lived in a two famely house. this ge was down stairs.

All the tools and book. hose does not leak. she took veary good care of it over the years.

a hoover slimline. for 8.00 a regina broom for my friend Joel. was also found. the hoover is in good shape but needs a cord. and a good cleaning.

a pink 1960's sears hand vac for 2.00. like the dugles brown and tan ones in the late 70's. this needs a good cleaning.

I found this a few weeks a go at a esate sale for 15.00 it is like new. came with book and bags.

a tri star at a yard sale for 5.oo wooks great needs a cord and a new belt. and some searvice. the man sed it woorks good but it is just old. I felt like saying this is a better vacuum than most new ones. and you sold it to cheep. oh well I did not say that.

a hoover 28

at a rumage sale for a 1.00 It woorked but had not ben used and a long time. it was in bad need of a grease job and new brush strips. the bag has two small holes in it. wen I get more time I will cleane it better and fix the bag, but for now at least it is searvided and can be used.

I love that montgomery wards eureka.. My great grandmother had one of those in the 80's.. But it was orange..

I especially like the Hoover 28 and the G.E. tank. Isn't very often that you find a 28 with the original bag, or a G.E. tank with the original box! Congratulations!
