Found this little number sitting there and I just couldn’t pass it up. If nothing else the brushroll alone justifies the purchase!!

Hoover Guardian -- a commercial version of the Hoover. Great machine!

Belching dust. You know how those Hoovers just spew. Filling the air with filth. To the crusher with it.

Use a Rainbow. Wet dust cannot fly. Drown the germs in water from which they cannot escape.

LOL. Good find Reggie.

There’s your wet dust flying! LOL!!!! Of course I love me a good Wrecks-Air any day

Thankfully I have some type A HEPA bags I can use in it, the plain paper bags (in the opinion of my allergies) leal dust like a sieve!

Have one of these, too came from the over 30 day pile at a former vac shop here.Very nice machine-use the RIGHT bag in it-no dust belching.Take this over the Rainbow any day!Rainbows work well----BUT---TOO MESSY!!!!Just don't like dealing with the water bin.

The Rainbow still wins for attachment cleaning honestly.

I remember Tom telling me the only time dot absolutely no sand out of a carpet while demoing a Rainbow was a house where the woman had a Convertible of some sort, and she vacuumed several times a day, changing that C bag every use. Always felt Eureka had one up on Hoover with the F&G bag, and I'll confess to stuffing HEPA F&G bags in C bag Convertibles, but Hoover did eventually up them with the A bag.

The Guradsman is probably my favorite Hoover (second only to the 913/918) because of its use of the A bag rather than the C. Did any other metal base Hoovers use the A bag? Its also the best looking of them all in my eyes, and its far less common than the average Convertible.

Rainbow failed miserably at my home.

The demonstrator couldn't suck any thing out of the carpeting here yet I empty the bag of my Kirby often and it was always full of dust(and cat hair at the time). The surprised look on his face when he discovered his demo filter was as clean at the end of the test as it was a the start was priceless. My Kirby was 24 years old at the time.
