Hey the link below is a Hoover 700 from 1926-1929. I talked her down to 75. I was wondering how hard to clean up make it a show vacuum. The VAcuum has been in family since new. I was wondering is 75 overpaying and any other Imfo would be helpful.

How ironic that the Hoover 700 cost $75 when new in 1926. The hardest thing to come by for the restoration are brush strips, cloth bag, and proper cord and plug (we are talking original parts, and not later 'bojack' parts).
They sold 3/4 of a million of that model during three years time, so obtaining the correct parts from donor machines isn't too much of a trick. | ||
