I'm curious to know what year Electrolux USA first offered the CVS wall-mounted caddy and the upright carrying caddy.

Aerus's online manuals include all three of the Genesis line manuals but omit the Epic 3000 SR (1992-1993) and navy & light sand Epic 3500 SR (1993-1995). The caddy is mentioned in the gray Epic 3500 SR manual, copyright 1995 (it was manufactured from 1995 to 1997).

Also, have there been different colors/variations of them? As far as I know, I've only ever seen the greige (light gray/beige) ones.

I'd take for granted that the CVS caddies were introduced at or around the same time.

I got the upright caddy in photos 1 and 2, complete with the hose and tools, a couple of months ago for $30 shipped. Felt like it was one of those deals where it was better to buy now and think about it later.

That was a great deal!

A couple years ago I paid $20 for the CVS caddy on eBay thinking that it was for uprights. Alas, I hadn't done my research. I can't remember if I paid any shipping.

I got one like the one in picture 1 & 2. It came free from a friend when I bought my Electrolux upright. There is a 3rd style...it's the same as the one in 1 & 2, but the combo tool unfolds and clips in up top, and the sidekick goes on the bottom. I'll have to take a picture.

Correction: I'll have to find a picture...I do not have that version.

Thanks, Andy & Jimmy. Below is a photo I located online of the gray Epic 3500 SR (model U110B) and the supposedly older of the two carrying caddy versions you mentioned:

In that case, the carrying caddy must have been introduced before 1995, because the Epic 3500 SR 1995 manual illustrates the one in reply #6.

I noticed in literature & accessory kits that the uprights from the Discovery II to the Genesis LX all used the short crevice nozzle along with the Prolux and Commercial uprights. Beginning with the Genesis LXe the standard crevice tool was included. So, the accessory carrying caddy couldn't have been introduced before the Genesis LX was in 1992.

According to this 1993 spec sheet for the 3500 SR, the carrying caddy was available. (photo courtesy of tig21er)
