"Original"???? FSC3 - I hate to be the Devil's Advocate on the Esty ad - but that 425 is far from original. It's a rebuilt 425 - not original bag, identification plate, base is painted, and motor cover looks repainted. | ||

It's a U4175 from I'm guessing the 80's due to the plastic base and the light switch style on off switch. | ||

My apologies. I have a number of Hoover specials. I could not wrap my head around a factory altered vacuum as being “original”. Your ad was not misleading as you represent it as an original 425 special. Too many years working on cars where something is original only once. | ||
