Nice assortment of floor tools. I kept looking at that one thing and thinking it was part of a floor shampooer and it was just your shoe once I enlarged the pic!

I love the PN1's mid-century styling. It's such an artifact of its era. I've got one that came with one of my 1205's. I always thought its performance was a little anemic until I replaced the brush roll. I didn't realize it had a PN2 brush roll in it, and the thread cutter discs were impeding it. With the right brush roll, it's a little beast. Even so, it's pretty much retired these days as I've fitted both of my 1205's with PN2's. To me, the PN2 is the best power nozzle Electrolux made, followed closely by the PN4 and 4A, which I use with my Super J and Diamond Jubilee, respectively.

I totally agree....really like the PN2 & PN4 the best of all the Elux PN's. If I'm using one of the G's or a 1205, I'll mostly use the PN2. I do have a bunch of PN1's......not sure how that happened.....I think they just came with vacs I bought whether they were right for the period or not. I even have an early PN1 and a late one...slight difference in the way the brush bearings are held in, IIRC.

And as far as the DJ goes, when I need to get serious for cleaning like company coming or whatever, it's a force of nature. We had 3,000sq/ft of carpeting in our old farm house and that PN4 was more than up to the task.
