Hi, I'm new here to the site. I have a few old compact vacuums (2 c6's and 1 c2) and I was wandering if anyone here know how to identify and exact year an old compact is? Any help
Would be greatly appreciated as I have been trying to find out for
A while without success. Thanks

The C2

Is the second C2, the first had a deflector on the exhaust and no chrome pedal for the switch, just a button sticking up, yours is about 52-55, The C6s were made from about 64 or 65 thru about 68 I believe, the tan one was a standard model and I don't know the exact date for it.If you REALLY want to know the exact year, take the motor out, Lamb motors all are dated, Some on the fan housing, all on the armature.
