Has anybody heard of a "Majestic" upright vacuum, from the late '20's or the early '30's, from the look of it ? Found one at a thrift store, like new shape, just needs a cleaning and new belt, runs fine motor-wise. Never saw one before. Has a single caster wheel in the back, and turns on by rotating a knob built into the end of the handle. No manufacturing info on the serial plate, nor a model number. The dust bag is dark blue, with an envelope top fold. The name "Majestic" is written in orange script on the bag. Any info would be appreciated. I'd like to find a belt that would fit on the machine, and have it working in its original condition. Thanks !

Your link doesn't work. My computer warned that it might be a "malicious link."

Yes, I got that same message too. It looks like dialamaticman accidentally linked to his email inbox somehow as a web address, that's all it is, nothing malicious.

The only 'Majestic' I'm familiar with is my Filter Queen from the 1990s.

Hello All,
Does anyone have a picture or own a Montgomery Ward "Which Way" vacuum. I have heard of it but I have never seen one. Apex made a lot of vacuums back then.
Thank you for looking,
Pete

That was a good vacuum,
I no longer have that one, it now resides with another collector who gave it some love and restored it. If I remember right didn't the brush roll run backwards on this?
