I have no idea what they were thinking when they designed this and sold it as a commercial vacuum

Was at my local vac shop today and asked the owner about it, I thought at first it was a hoover ZVac, he said he has had it for 4 months and other than cleaning it up has no idea what to sell it for, and had it sitting in a corner behind all his other used machines.

He got it from a kirby distributor, was traded in towards a Kirby so he buys alot of the trade-ins. (Also had a HYLA water vacuum that he had just sold before I got there today.

First impressions of this thing are that it is both heavier and seems to be flimsier than a dyson, for a 2000$ vacuum I couldn't believe it. The dustbin stays vertical when in use too as it swivels with the machine so its never to the side... To me this feels like a $150 vacuum if it were sold new at any big box store...

Looked into it some, guess the owner of the company used to be a part of filterqueen and this machine uses a cone style filter.

If I am remembering correctly, Healthmor, Filter Queen's manufacturer, sued FVS Inc, Filtropur's manufacturer, for patent infringement over the paper cone the Filtropur uses in the dirt cup. One thing I do like about Filtropur, though, is at least they use a HEPA filter on the exhaust, something I hope Filter Queen catches onto eventually.

Definitely a oddball machine, for sure.

I found one of these weird things at a Goodwill once. I didn't even begin to consider taking up space in my house with it.

That bagless thing would make a good DUMPSTER vac if it was used commercially!See so many various brands of bagless machines used in places I shop at-and their bins stuffed and clogged with dirt and debris-they are never dumpted!
