Hey guys and gals,
I have a real white wool shag carpet that was basically new old stock from 1972 that I had laid in my den/mini meet room. I want to keep it as new as possible and I wanted to hear your opinions on how to do this. I have a rake on my Kirby, I have a shag tool for Hoover and Bison for use on the hose. I also have Electrolux Floor Pro with nap lifters. I vacuum it every time I go into the room and yes I use brush rolls on it. My favorite so far are my Classic III, Regina Brush N Beat, and Hoover Concept. I wanted to know if it would benefit me to get like a pile lifter? Is the lux to harsh? ECT... I'll look for a picture of carpet and post it. |

Best picture I have of the carpet. It's thicker than it looks. There are several vacuums I can't even use on it because the brush roll just can't turn on it.

Shag rake, the Kirby does well on shag, I would love to have old fashioned shag wall to wall! |
