Hi All - I picked this up a few weekends ago at a new Vacuum Shop that opened up in Green Brook, NJ a few miles from my house - He is primarily a Miele, Hoover, and Royal Dealer -

Since we have had a a cleaning person come in every two weeks for the last several months now, and will for the foreseeable future, I only really was looking for a simple bagged upright - I got one of the Bissell's at Walmart, but it was horrible - Cheep, no real suction, and it was like pushing a tank across the room - If you adjusted the height to actually clean the rug, you could not push it - If you moved the height to be able to move it, it does not clean...

So - I decided on a Royal Pro-Series Lightweight upright - UR30095- Basically a Hoover Platinum Lightweight in Blue/Grey/Black... Identical in every way except for the color - I just liked the Blue better on the Royal -Brand new in the Box - $100.00 + Tax - Could not pass up the price - Lightweight - Cleans Well - Easy to Push... Huge Bags -
Sorry about the pictures being everyway but up - I forgot and took them with my IPhone, and the website does not seem to like iPhone Pictures...
Dan

I have the similar Hoover Lightweight Platinum Bagged upright....and I love it! It is one of the few uprights rated "Excellent" for carpet cleaning in Consumer Reports. If you just need an effective, but lightweight vacuum for carpets, you can't beat these Hoovers. Indeed, the bag is huge and filters well, and it's got a headlight and nice long 30-foot cord to boot.

Great purchase...enjoy!

Hi Brian - Good Info - I did not know it was so highly rated -

Almost all of our house except for the kitchen, bathroom, and entrance hall are carpeted so this was perfect for me - (With white carpet no less !!)

The Royal Version has a 35-foot Cord - Other then that I think they are identical to the Hoover except for the color schemes -
