I have just begun the transformation of my 1987 Kirby Heritage II from a disposable bag (Mini Emtor) machine to a shake out (Sani Emtor) one!

Progress so far: short rear axle (102080) installed!

Ben, what is the main reason why you are doing this conversion?

Just curious.

Stan,

Why, I am going to convert from disposable bags (Mini Emtor) to a shake out bag (Sani Emtor).

What I really mean is that this machine did come with a shake out bag, but not everything on it was correct to my preferred specifications.

So Ben, it seems that you may prefer shakeout bag systems over disposable ones. Is that because you prefer not to buy disposable bags? Just wondering.

Stan,

Right... and the fact that shake out bags for the '80s Kirbys are rare!
