Ever since Reading Charles Richard's website on electrolux history I have always been fascinated by a few of the models that he had posted about, models V, XII, XX, XXX, hospital G and a couple others. Electrolux has always been a favorite of mine since my grandmother had electrolux, and other distant family members as well. Several years ago a good friend of mine had Two model 20 Lux machines one of which was promised to a friend of ours and the other he was keeping for himself. Upon speaking with our mutual friend the other night I asked him about it. I had mentioned that I was interested in the machine and that it would have a good home and it would be restored. I also mentioned that if it were to leave my collection the only other place it would go is to him. He was ok with that and I'm ever so grateful for it. Well today I went and picked it up and I cannot thank my friends enough for the machine. Now I present to you my model XX electrolux

When you told me about this the other night, I thought, "Hmmmm"
I'm happy you're happy".
Really, it IS great when one finds a dream machine. Feel free to leave it in NY during the Monster Mash Bash 6!
Aren't I awful?

DO bring it. It can have a 'play date' with a nice Hoover cylinder.
You show me yours, I'll show you mine.

Always happy to see someone get their 'holy grail' find :). Mine were more simple than that, but none the less an excellent feeling!
