It's a bit rough but I plan to restore it. A lady called me and asked if I was the guy who has a huge collection here because she found this old Airway and wants it to be appreciated. I was very pleased to have this uncommon model..
Sorry for the not so great photo taken in the back seat.

Question, is this hose an original 66 or 77 hose?

Hose

The blue tracer would indicate a 66 hose. I just used one today. The 77 was green with a red tracer.

Also the 66

Hose and the 55 hoses were cotton braid, as were the very first 77 hoses, the later 77 hoses were saran braid.

That's great news, I have a nice 66 that's missing it's hose. Now I just have to find the 55 hose, dang. I also need to find a 77 hose. All of my other airway's have their correct hoses.

If anyone has any of these hoses lying around I don't care if they hold air or not as they are just for display. I have vinyl hoses I use for cleaning.

That's the correct hose for the post war 55, as well as the 66. The pre-war 55 used a purple hose.
