Managed to get part of this thing apart, but I can't figure out how to get the cuff off the hose! Oy! All suggestions are welcome...Thank you!

There's a few vids on modern vac hose repair/replacement. This screenshot includes the video url at the top. Its not the exact same Kenmore progressive, but they probably used the same connection design for yours.
