Hello again
I bought a d80. I was wondering if bag was original. The vacuum came with rug renovate and all attachments. The bag may original not sure. But in pic of receipt the serial number is not same as bottom of vacuum. I think receipt is for attachments and another vacuum and someone sold attachments and paired with a different vacuum not sure.

Les,

No, the bag I see on your D80 isn't - it appears to be a reissue cloth bag for models Classic 1CR and Classic Omega 1CB.

I have a D80 with the original bag.

Here is right pic. The second picture is another Kirby either classic or classic omega it has metal fan so I know it's early but that's about it.

Les,

The 2nd picture is of a Classic 1CR, serial no. T139-137 (?), which was purchased sometime late in 1971.

Hey Ben,
Would the bag work for classic omega. I mean I know you said reissue but I have a red sanitronic bag on omega now wouldn't said bag be for omega. Thanks again for all your help.

Weird question

lesinutah's profile picture
Will a metal fan from 70 classic/omega fit the Kirby traditional. I might make a fraken kirby. Which brush roller is better omega or traditional.
To those who answer thanks, the weird things running g through my mint all day.

Les,

Yes, a Omega metal fan will fit the Tradition.  Mechanically the Omega and Tradition are identical.

Best brush roll:

Again the Omega and Tradition are one in the same.  But he best IMO, is the Heritage four strip brush roll.   It will also fit the Omega and Tradition.
