Goodwill near me, had the motor unit (nothing else) priced at $9.99. I searched everywhere, no hose, wands, PN or tools. Odd they would sell it anyway.

I got it anyway. Today, I got a good hose, wands and PN (no brush roll).

Problem, the motor sounds increasingly horrible.

This coming week I am going to take it out and see if I can fix it.

Does anyone have any advice about working on these motors?

Is there another motor that I can replace this one for?

Your advice/comments/tips, are welcome.

Those things are worth repairing. The beauty of an older machine is easier to work on.
