Hi All

Today I received a GE Genie. On giving it a light clean I found it didn't have a belt. The vacuum was used without a paper bag so it's been carefully washed and is now drying.

I'm sure the same belt would fit the Philips, Regina and fakir.

Does anyone know if another makers belt would fit the GE. Any details much appreciated as I'll have to shop overseas online for it.

Cheers

Mike

That looks like it would take the Simplicity Freedom belt.

GE Genie restored

Hi all

today I finished restoring this little darling.

Took some advice from dysonman and ordered simplicity freedom belts from the USA and they fit perfectly.

Bag now washed and new paper bag fitted.

I remember these machines here and in oz as they were only sold through Woolworths supermarkets and she purrs like new.

I am amazed at the agitation of this little upright and can see why Regina called it brush n beat.

Cheers. Mike

Nice job, the hood reminds me of a Convertible Elite sort of.
