I would just replace it, replacement hoses for these vacuums are widely available, and some actually have a switch on them for the power nozzle. Which model of machine do you have? Mike |

I've kept my woven hoses for when I want to display them and have them look pretty but for functionality, an OEM vinyl hose is definitely the best, most cost effective solution. I've never actually tried to refurbish a woven hose but from what I've read on these forums, I doubt I would actually bother. Attempting to seal the hose often make it too stiff to use satisfactorily and the repair doesn't always last very well long term.
