I'm looking for a rainbow e2 black for under $500. Anyone know where I can buy one? I want it to come with the dusting brush, crevices tool and uyposty tool. If it comes with more for under $500 that would be awesome. Please let me know. I want it in good condition and working without any issues. Thank you

Check with a local Kirby dealer-often they get Rainbows in their trade in piles.

At the Vacuum Collectors Convention in St. James, Missouri, one of our friends this year brought 2 Rainbow e2 Black models. Clean and Complete. $250 each. Lots of people brought vacuums for sale or give away. Frank always brings high-end machines with him - cheap. And the great thing is: you can try them out first and there's a whole room full of people who know how to fix them.

There are several people who live in California who make the yearly trek for the convention to the vacuum cleaner museum. Sadly, the machines do not get put on eBay, but Are sold directly to vacuum convention attendees.

getting a rainbow e2 black

Check out the great vacs web site, you won't get it for the price you mentioned, it will cost a bit more but it will come with lots of accessories and will still be cheaper than buying one new, they are great machines. They recondition every vacuum that they sell, a great company.

You can always try

Pawn shops.  It is not at all uncommon to find relatively new machines in a pawn shop for little or nothing.   (Of course the finance company that holds the papers probably won't be too thrilled.)

Typically a pawn broker will offer the debtor <$100 for a high end vacuum, and will sell to the retail customer with asking prices starting at 1/2 of normal retail.  Remember all purchase at a pawn shop are negotiable.   You walk in with $500 cash,  you will be that pawn brokers best friend when he is able to move a vacuum that has been sitting on his floor for six months.

Another Rainbow hunting ground besides vac shop or DTD trade in piles-try a pawn shop.Have seen Rainbows and Kirbys in pawn shops. These are the most frequent types of vacuums I find in them.

Does it have to be an E2 black? There is a possibility I can get either a late gold or blue for $500 to you, our blacks used sell for more than $500 and we are a genuine authorized rainbow distributor. Any rainbow we sell will come with a warranty and we can happily ship it out to you.

I want a black model. I already have a gold. Do you still sell the black model?

e2 black

If you want a black model, you are probably going to have to be willing to pay a bit more, even if it's used, this is the current model.
