Just wanted to know if anyone has a set of brush strips to fit a Hoover Powermax upright?? I just got the machibe rubs wonderful but the brush strips are worn down. A fellow collector said they are not made anymore but if anyone has a extra set they would be willing to sell please let me know. You can message me through my email stargazer1704@aol.com or on here thanks sincerely Sam Addison

Good Luck !

These brush strips are IMPOSSIBLE to find ever since they were discontinued. However, some guy out of California named Jamie Herbert "attempted" to make his own replacement for $80.00 and he took a CWP roller and took off some bristles.

That people on here think those brush strips are so rare! Yes the brush strips are NLA and maybe hard to find online. However, I'm here to tell you! That there are PLENTY of Concept/PowerMax uprights out there. Last year I purchased four Concepts at a local flea market. Two weeks ago I saw a Concept One at the Habit for Humanity restore. I can't count the number of times I've seen a Concept at an estate sale on my adventures with Chad. And most of the used Concepts I have found still have good brush strips.

Sam I will check my Hoover tub for extra brush strips. If need be I’m sure I can find a pair. They are not impossible to find with a little looking.

Kenny

It seems to be regional...I haven't seen more than 2 Concepts at Sales and Thrift Shops around here over the past few years. Both had brush inserts worn down to absolutely nothing.
If you come across some extra Brush Inserts, Kenny, let me know
