I'm sure we all remember this guy. His name is Jamie Herbert and he was trying to advertise the private label Morse vaccum on his other channel. Now, this guy is selling a modified CWP Hoover 13 inch brushroll that doesn't even have the rest of the bristles because there was supposed to be a belt there and to make things worse, he's charging $80 for each one. Glad to see someone try but it's half as*ed. Reminds me of the Jim Keeler fiasco.

Not to mention...

His spelling is absolutely atrocious!

Yikes on price but it's cool someone put together a replacement for those rollers. I'm sure one of our members on here could probably do it cheaper!

At least somebody is trying! I do agree the price is a little high.

We definitely need new brush rolls for Concepts. Once great cleaners are getting rendered gutless by worn, NLA bristles.

If this replacement had bristles across its full width and was cheaper, I'd get one as a backup for my U3317 Concept I. But $80 is waaaay too much! I'd sooner hunt down another Concept just for the brush roll than pay $80 for an aftermarket replacement whose bristles don't go the full width and can't use the original belt.

That poor Hoover needs more than a brushroll!

there is a much easier and cheaper solution to this

all you need to do is keep the endcaps from the original brushroll core, and switch out the core with a dial a matic and wall -a! replaceable brush strips.

It looks like a Eureka brush bar that he has put on a lathe and made another belt guid for it. Its not a bad idea, just a pity about the missing brush strips, That said most customers wont be to bothered by that. It also means you can keep your old machine going for a little longer

Will,
The one problem there is the later edition of the Concept (called the Power Drive) like in the sellers video, has a different nameplate with supports ruining across. They would interfere with the Beater Bars on the DAM Agitator. It would work on a Standard Concept, though.

I'm glad that someone is putting the effort into this. Maybe it will eventually be perfected or CWP will decide to make their own since after all it is their brushroll being used. I would get one is I was in desperate need, however I would never pay that price.

tom anderson said tti threatened thier contract with CWP if they made concept brushrolls. this has nothing to do with CWP. but i assure you, cwp will never be allowed to make them as long as the mgmnt at TTI still has this mentality.

If you ask me, TTI is losing money there. They could strike up a deal with CWP stating that they can only be sold through Hoover, allowing the sales to be made. I don't think they realize how many people still use, and enjoy their Concept Cleaners.

why would TTI not want CWP to make concept brushes, Are TTI so scared that customers would old onto their concept machines instead of buying newer Hoovers?

Because...

they want people to go out and buy their plasti-crap at Walmart and other vendors. I know a couple of vac shops that do Hoover warranty work, and they break down before out of warranty or parts break off. Apparently TTI does not keep extra parts, because more often than not, they just send a new machine to replace the owner's. Now I'm not a finance person, but is that a way to run a company? If the replacement machine is not made any better, I guess the customer will keep getting a new machine?
