and to what vacuum does it belong? I found it in a box of vacuum attachments that came with a vacuum I was given. It looks like it is for a Hoover because of the openings have slots which match Hoover tools. I can not figure out what model it fits.

You Are Correct

This belongs to a Hoover Dial A Matic and it attaches to where the hose goes into the machine.


The video shows what it looks like when attached to a hose.
