The screw for the filter was loose so might as well remove it now. |

Pic #1 ~ Tool port cap is broken, but will be easily fixed. #2 ~ Some battle scars. #3 Wheel cap which was broken before or during transit. #4 ~ The fill tube is missing its little sponge "doughnut" |

Sole plate removed. Surprisingly, the brush strips look new and the belt looks almost new and is genuine. |

Some sun damage and a weird large patch of heavy scratches and dirt. Both had to be lightly sanded back and then covered with T-Cut scratch remover. |

Unfortunately, the royal appointment has worn slightly. It says - "By appointment to her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth the II, suppliers of suction cleaners and floor polishers, Electrolux Ltd, Luton Beds."

I love the 1070's! They were Electrolux's budget cleaner throughout the early 90's, but were better than both the Glider and Contour than ran above it. This model was actually brought back due to large sales of backstock z1055 and z1065's and ran right up until about 1995. They were a bargain too at only £49.99 towards the end of the run.
