Hello. I bought a replacement fan for my featherlite plus but I can't figure out how to put it on! I wish the featherlites were like the elites were you can just pop off the hood and configure the motor and have access to the fan. Please help!

You're right, the Elites are easier to replace parts on. |

Those are so simple, very similar to an elite for opening up. There is 4 clips/tabs on the corners of the hood, one at each corner. I believe the front ones are at the sides of the brushroll housing, the back ones behind the wheels. The hood should then pop off. There is either 2 or 4 screws holding the motor housing to the base and I believe 4 on the fan case itself.
