I've decided to do a bit of restoration work on my 725 with a 750 motor. I have a few questions about how it goes together and comes apart.

First, how does the connector from the motor to the handle go together. It is the 2 speed setup with 3 wires. I want to know how the stuff under the plastic cover is supposed to go.

Secondly, how do you dismantle the motor. It is a 750 motor with the headlight. It feels rather stiff so I want to clean it and check the bearings. I have never taken a Hoover upright motor apart beyond taking the cover off or removing the suction fan. Most of the time they require no maintance so I don't need to take them apart but this one needs a bit of work.

Thats all for now. Also, if anyone is interested in buying a partialy restored 725 with a 750 motor, I might be selling it.
