As good as the Concept is, give me my 1936 150 or my Dial-A-Matic any day!

I couldn't agree more. The Dial-A-Matic gets the nod for the most innovative Hoover upright ever. For ease of tool conversion and clean air design it surpasses the Concept One when Hoover took two steps back with a dirty air system

I certainly didn't mean to offend or hurt anyone's (or anyone's machines) feelings. Dial-A-Matic is just what I grew up with and for its time IMHO it was a revolutionary step forward in vacuums. Some will say the same holds true for the Hoover 150.

No matter the Hoover model, each has certainly added something of great value to the vacuum cleaner world. Nothing in this world is perfect, but all of the above Hoovers have definitely made their mark, as evidenced by everyone here who loves and appreciates the cleaners they have.🙂

I mean just look at them, or even better, RUN them. Heck, they're all good. Although, we never had a D A M until i began a collection. But, they are great, paved the way for everything today.
