Hit the Elkhorn flea market, saw several Electrolux model XXX's and a Remington vacuum.

I have never seen a Remington vacuum cleaner. Was it a non-electric, or perhaps a handheld?

It was a chrome cylinder canister, the front end was dished in, it had a hose with it. The power switch was at the back end on the top, it was just a chrome button sticking up. The hose looked like the ones that Electrolux had in the 60's, the plastic weave outer cover.

I'm guessing that it was made for Remington by someone else. I think they wanted $50 for it.

Yesterday I saw a Westinghouse cylinder vacuum on runners with the hose. The dealer wanted $125 for it. Needless to say I left it there.
