i just got myself a G3 this week also! I seems to run alot quieter than my G4, and that g3 transmission sure does shift quicker than the G4 too! I love it! i love all of my kirbys! I'm up to 10 now!

kirby g series.

i love the g-series, when i started collecting kirbys i wanted only the pre g series ones, then a friend of mine called and told me he had got a G-5 from his girlfriends neighbor, so i bought it and i fell in love with it! later on i got my g-4 80th anniversary edition and thats when i knew i was going to have to have all the gs! for some reason the transmissions on my g-4s seem quieter than the later models, and those generation 3 transmissions are ALOT faster than the later models!

I Love the Kirby Generation Series Too
The G3 transmission does shift faster from what I can remember of my great grandmothers. I have a G6 2000 edition and my aunt has the same one also we love them. I am also bidding on an Ultimate G Diamond Edition on ebay hopefully i will win has 3 1/2 days left. The G series is easier to use than previous models I can push the g6 on lowest setting on my plush carpets with no effort but grandmas Kirby Classic I cannot push on anything lower than 3.
