This is the after sanding shot, but it didn't look much better before.

Thanks Dave, but Kirbyvertibles did it! It's his vacuum, and I need to make me do my DAM, but I don't have a work area.

The color of trim is bittersweet orange and the base is pearl white this machine was from March 1964-January 1966 . The brand of paint I used is Sherman William's. I have a 1060 that need a touch up also but I will have to go to a Lowes or some place that will do a match with a laser because Sherman W. didn't think it would be easy to match that seal griege color on the 1060. I need to find a convertible special 32 and a 35 and I will have the complete convertible special set. HINT HINT

Excellent job Phillip! That's a great looking bag! Did you paint the handle/bail also?

Why yes Rick I did paint the handle and bail also
The bag is great except for a few tears on the back down around the bottom but that quite alright with me. All the snaps work though. I think the hardest part with the whole thing was getting the bumper off and then back on.

Phillip...

Great job on the restoration of the 34. I am impressed with the color match and the quality of the whole machine. It is nice that you have this machine now for your collection. Working hard has its rewards. The 34 is an often hard to find machine especially with the original bag. Congrats!!! Your collection is fast growing!

--Tom

PS...will the 34 be making the homecoming to North Canton in August????
