Please see my vacuum photos. I rescued a Eureka 3712-B from my towns recycle dropoff. The only thing wrong is that duct tape hose repair wasn't working well any more. Though I re-duct taped the hose which actually still good, I did buy a new hose and gave the machine some TLC. I can't get over the suction it creates, it has 4.0 peak horsepower. I'm hoping to find out more about it, like what was it called, what year it came out. Thanks

Though your Eureka canister is from the early 1980's, the design of the main unit made it's debut way back in 1970. Because the original model number series was 1600, Eureka called this line of cleaners the "Sweet Sixteens".
