Ok. So a long time ago when I was something like six years old I used to love Dyson. The newest one at the time was the Dyson DC14. I used to think they were so cool. Every time me and my dad went to Home Depot I would always ask "Can we go look at the Dyson?" I loved seeing the shiny new yellow DC14s. Every Christmas I asked for one thing. It was a Dyson. My parents got me a toy DC14, and I loved it. Now I know
Dysons aren't all that great. I would still love to have a DC14 All Floors (Yellow).
I haven't been able to find one for a good price, but I'm hopeful!

Here's a pic of a Dyson DC14 Animal I fixed up for someone...

12 years ago when I got out of high school I came across one of these and bought it. I had only heard about them from TV and thought they were great. I used it a few times and ended up returning it. My mom liked it so much she went back and bought it. I didn't think it cleaned any better then my non hepa dirt devil and at the time I really didn't know any better.

After that it was several years before I lived in a place that needed a vacuum for carpets. This was when I met my wife. She had a bissel that was clogged and sadly had been like that for a month. Fixed it ad used it until I got my eureka. I loved that thing but it died after 2 years and I borrowed my grandmas Kirby. I knew nothing except it was old and didn't work very well. Sadly I have no clue what happened to it. I didn't know anything about them. I ended up buying a Dyson again and that was a DC33. I used it until we moved in this house and I started to realize how bad they were. Berber was its death. I finally came to to find that those things weren't repairable nor worth it. After I sold it I got a kenmore elite and it was okay. It really had decent filtration and made the carpets look nice but it still wasn't what I wanted. Finally I had an opportunity to see a friends Rainbow. It was super nice and I had heard of there awesome filtration. It was a new E2 black and I bought one.

It's ok but I have a upright fetish. I absolutely love the way the new Kirby Avalirs look and perform. I just wish I could find that old Kirby and get it rebuilt.

I was pleasantly surprised by the DC14. Great tools, and much better cleaning performance on carpets and hard floors compared to the first US model, the DC07. I still use mine often. The tools are a dream for stair cleaning, and dusting a room from top-to-bottom. When you're all done, the dirt is easy to empty, and you start fresh easily after every use.
