Neat! Is it one of the early PowerForce Baglesses?

But how could that be? If you were born in 1967, that would mean you got this in 1972. I did not think Bissell made bagless uprights back then. But maybe I am wrong?

Not even if

a typo was made and he was born in '76. That would have been 1981, and no plastic or upright bagless vac's were even made yet then. Not in North America.
Maybe a shop vac was plastic.
Eureka and Hoover used steel until the mid 80's. Kenmore's were plastic, but not bagless. Bissel only made electric broom style vac's then.

Your profile says that you were born in 1967 but these Powerforces came out in the early 2000's.

To everyone who was wondering...

That's not my real age. I did not feel comfortable sharing my real age

Oh. Okay.

Well...it's cool that you still have a vac from when you were 5 years old! The vacs we loved when we all were kids end up being engraved on our memory forever, and all of us collectors are constantly on the lookout for those special cleaners!

Enjoy the Bissell!

Considering that you don't feel comfortable sharing your age we can completely understand. You must consider that when signing up to become a paid member your age will be needed so you can be in the proper forums I.E. junior. Also you state in another thread that your bissell has lasted you 7 years and since you got it when you were 5 that would make you around 12-13 which isn't something to be ashamed of here on vacuumland. :)

I just remembered...

We used to live in a house with an unfinished basement, and my dad was putting up drywall. He used three vacs similar to a Dirt Devil Featherlite. They all blew up that same house we had an 80s dustbuster and a crappy Shark that got really loud. My mother also ran over a Little Green. It was in that house that I first took an interest in vacuums.
