We had those Panasonic cylinders in the uk years ago they were quite s good vacuum. Quiet but powerful and built to last Dave |

As David said, we had those in the UK. Here is the brochure, from 96-97, though these were available as early as 1993.

But what is really unique about the Panasonic shown in the first post is that it can be set for use with 120volts (North America and Japan), and 220volts (Europe, Australia and Middle East). This is a great investment for North Americans who work in academia or the diplomatic corps or the military and are constantly on the move around the world....
