Update.. I got it for a great price. After watching videos, successfully dismantled it to remove the motor. Everything else is in great shape. Except, they dumped the bag dock when they last disposed of the dirty bag. So, this is definitely a part vac. | ||

Velvet Miele I don't know what substance** Miele designers were sniffing at the time, but that covering must be one of the most impractical ever conceived. ** Maybe they were sniffing the glue which sticks the velvet covering in place? | ||

If I were you I would consider buying a voltage Transformer. It will cost about a quarter what the Miele parts will be to change everything out.
