I only collect pre WWII era vacuums but I couldn't resist this one. I bought it for myself for Christmas.....it was listed on eBay as an AirWay Air Chief....
it's a great vacuum but only has a tag stating "Made in USA" and "Model 700A"...
and "Patented"...that's it so I'm not sure if it is an AirWay.
I googled Air Chief and came up with absolutely nothing.
It works great and I polished it the day it arrived. I love it !
So....what is it ??

Dave

Just like kenkart stated, it's a private label vacuum made by Clements MFG Co. I have the exact same machine, even same Model # 700A, but mine is labeled "Admiral." My vacuum has a two speed motor, cloth bag, and a pre-motor filter on it, is yours set up the same way?

Clements

Made their own motor, the first 3 speed tank ever I think, I have a Cadillac Quic Vac Swivel top canister that uses a souped up version of this motor, it moves a lot of air.
