Does anyone have any experience with the Oreck Insight upright? It seems very comparable to the Oreck Forever Gold series upright. I had an Oreck XL from the early 2000's that ended up being a real POS. I swore I'd never own another one so I bought a Riccar Supralite which is a really powerful, lightweight cleaner. However, I was always hesitant to run the Riccar over my wood floors given the steel brush roll so I gave it to my parents to use as a secondary vacuum. I know that Orecks aren't nearly as powerful as Riccars but I was wondering how the Insight compared to the older XL models? Is it more powerful? Would you use one on bare floors (when I don't want to take out the Hide a Hose) ?
