I do like Miele vacuums-BUT--don't like some of their shortcomings-short hoses and cords-and the "doll dust" brushes. The machines do perform really well and are quiet to use. They filter well, too. |

vacuum. Their entry level line. Not a sealed system like the C2, and c3's though, but it filters quite well with an added hepa filter. I think David (Suckolux) has one. He said it's a bit cumbersome, but he likes it. |

I have definitely become a fan of Miele vacs. The C1/S2 basic line-up is great value for the money: lightweight, quiet, powerful, easy-to-use and easy-to-store, effective. If you need a longer reach, the more deluxe C3 series has longer cords, hoses and wands.
My only gripe is the size of the wheels: I much prefer two large standard wheels on the rear of a canister so that it can more easily ride over the cord or thresholds. But I have learnt to live with Miele wheels since the canisters are very easy to pick-up if need be. I also like the wide array of optional attachments that are available, including a nice soft universal wide dusting brush. |
