I'm new to Vacuumland and I just got this Brush Vac hand vac off eBay and it's missing the brushroll and I was wondering where I could find one is it pretty hard to find?

Welcome to Vacuumland.
I have one of these, but it's older the tube between motor and bag is longer and there's no handle, and the bag is longer too, without the wire frame. Mine has the brush roll, and belt, the cord is original, but I don't use it as there are several breaks. Where to get a brush roll? Try contacting the Cleveland Wood Products company in Cleveland, Ohio. This company makes brush rolls for almost every brand, and they specialize in the bags for Kirby. CWP might be able to customize a brush for you, or help you locate one that could fit. Good luck in your search, Alex Taber. |

Back in June of 2014 both the Kirby Company and Cleveland Wood Products hosted the vacuum Cleaner Collector's Club to factory tours, and shared a lot of vacuum cleaner history. CWP makes 'special' orders, and since the brush rolls are made to fit everything from the latest Kirby to the Royal Dirt Devil, this should be easy to duplicate.

It might be less expensive to buy another vac like yours and rob it of the brush roller, as opposed to have a new brush 'custom ordered', which I'm pretty sure would be quite expensive. I saw a hand held sweeper vac on eBay within the last few days, the listing said the machine was complete. I believe the price was within the $20 - $29 range. I have the older version of your machine, and found a heavy duty rubber band to use as a belt, as there are no modern rubber belts that I could find that would work.
