Hey there everybody it's been a while since I was last on the forum I recently acquired a 1919 hoover special 102 which is mainly original except bag and the original cord was cut but I still have it.if anybody has a parts diagram to the vacuum and maybe a wiring diagram I would hopeto rewire it. The motor runs but the cord was cut short and I need to get the motor out of the housing to rewire. Anybody have experience in this model and Also how much it's worth? Thanks
- Jason

If I were you....

I would invest in the Hoover Service manual from the Automatic Ephemera section. If you are diving into vintage Hoover, it is a invaluable thing to have for repair and service. A Hoover of that age will also need a full rebuild. Meaning motor serviced. and thoroughly serviced. That service manual will assist you in that venture. I only wish it would have been available when I first started.
