In here Finland we have almost same vacuum called Lux Intelligence. It must be the most expensive vacuum here. 2000e! |

I'd be happy if they'd just implement a telescopic wand and did away with the awkward loop handle. I think the power nozzle, cord length, hose length, low noise, high suction and full-size accessories are already great! |

I agree with all you said....except for the tools. For the money Aerus wants for the Guardian Platinum, the combination dusting/upholstery tool & adapter is totally inappropriate & looks cheap. In addition, the dusting brush side has a tendency to try & stick to furniture you are dusting. I think it would be nice if they included the TriStar dusting brush, upholstery tool, crevice tool & holder instead, they are much better designed.

Or better yet go back to the Classic style hose handle & aluminum wands like a 1205 or Super J |

That option would get my vote.
Other than that I do have to say the Lux Guardian Platinum is a great machine. and Quiet. Power nozzle emits more noise than the vacuum. |

It looks almost the same. I truly hope they don't change back to white. White vacuums are the worst! They stain and show dirt worse. They also tend to change colors. I think the black/silver looks best. |

I actually prefer light coloured vacuums and attachments....they seem to have a "friendlier" and more domestic air about them. Black coloured vacs look more like power tools and industrial machines and black tools show dust more easily and they always look dusty. Some black rubber attachments can mark white walls just like a crayon. I remember how my black Eureka World Vac dusting brush left black crayon marks on my white ceiling when I used it to dust a curtain rod.
Panasonic and Kenmore vacs have featured grey tools for a decade or two - the grey actually matches household dust exactly and they maintain a clean appearance for a very long time. I think vac-makers have figured out how to prevent the yellowing we used to see on vacs in the 1970's. I have yet to see a white modern Miele vac go yellow. |

Thanks for that product mention. I've not heard of that. One major cause of yellowing is smoking. I don't smoke but I've still had some white machines turn. |
