An older friend of mine is moving into a 'senior living' condo, and is selling his very large home. Having a heart condition, he is in no condition to 'clean' like you must when you sell a home. So, he asked ME to do it. The 2 bathrooms and the kitchen are, as my late aunt from Ireland would say, "shinin'". He has a Eureeeeka upright. He informed me that he was taking that with him, as his late wife liked it. He told me I may 'have' any of the others left behind. There is a really nice powder blue RegIna electric broom....I'll take just for fun. SOMEONE will want that. There's also a very nice Hoover Convertible WITH tools. He told me, "Make sure you take that with you when you're done". My response was, "Count on it". I think he's taking the little DD hand vac, or 'hand job', as he calls it. I told HIM, "Make sure YOU take that with YOU when I'm done".
So, a nice Hoover to add to the group. "Happy Dance". |

I discovered, in another area of the house, a nice blue "Ranger" style upright Convertible. He said, "No one wants that. Take it too".
Although the 'ranger' is not my favorite style, one must have one, or two, or five. As the late great Jackie Kennedy would say on a shopping spree,"I'll take this in every color". And you all KNOW how much I love Jackie. |
