I guess they

decided to avert any copyright infringement so they changed out the famous E-Lux chromed floor tool for a generic plastic one, or it got lost. The hose looks more like a swimming pool filter/vacuum hose.

Metropolitan?

Looks to me that, it could actually have been a Metropolitan rebuild. They used that brighter blue color, but the ones I've seen had creme color or BEIGE hoses. That company rebuilt thousands and more of the Eluxes over the years, and the "floor tool" on the cleaner (not what was in the Kirby Box), which was standard Kirby Classic or Omega fare; were pretty standard "vac-shop replacement fare" of the day. This is including that "pool hose", of which I agree on that observation entirely (BUT), wasn't uncommon for rebuilt product. I can remember a time when before the Spiralectric style crush-proof hose, this pool-hose was a common vac shop type repair hose.. The shape alone was enough for a vacuum person to Recognize the Electrolux shape.. TO the average television viewing audience, it was just a prop, and JUST a vacuum cleaner!!! LOL!~!
